These terms and conditions govern the use of simy.ro and the purchase of digital eSIM products through this website.

2. Definitions

eSIM — a digital SIM profile delivered electronically, installable on compatible devices. Customer — the individual or legal entity placing an order. Plan — a mobile data package for one or more countries with specified volume and validity.

3. Products and services

Simy.ro sells mobile data plans for international travel. All products are digital only. We do not sell physical SIM cards. Network coverage, speed and availability depend on partner operators in the destination country.

4. Orders and payment

Orders are placed online by selecting a plan and completing the required details. Prices are shown in RON (Romanian) or EUR (English). Payment is processed through a secure payment gateway (Netopia). The order is confirmed after successful payment.

5. Delivery

The digital product (QR code, LPA/SM-DP+ instructions) is delivered to the email address provided at checkout, usually within minutes. The customer is responsible for providing a valid email address and checking the spam folder.

6. Activation and validity

Plan validity generally starts on first connection to the mobile network at destination, not at purchase — unless otherwise stated on the plan page. The customer must confirm device compatibility (eSIM support, carrier-unlocked phone) before buying.

7. Right of withdrawal

Under distance selling rules for digitally delivered content, the 14-day withdrawal right does not apply when the customer has expressly agreed to immediate delivery before the withdrawal period ends and acknowledged losing the withdrawal right once the activation code is delivered.

By completing the order, the customer requests immediate delivery of the digital product.

8. Refunds and cancellations

We may approve full or partial refunds on a case-by-case basis when:

  • the eSIM could not be installed due to our error (profile not issued, proven technical failure);
  • the purchased plan was not activated / no data was consumed;
  • major coverage failures confirmed that make the service unusable.

No refund is granted if the eSIM was successfully installed, activated or consumed data, or if device incompatibility was reported after activation. Submit requests via our contact form or WhatsApp with your order number.

9. Limitation of liability

We do not guarantee continuous coverage in all geographic areas (mountains, basements, ferries, etc.). We are not liable for indirect losses. Maximum liability is limited to the value of the affected order.

10. Personal data protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy policy (GDPR). To exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, etc.), contact us via support email or the contact form.

12. Changes
